Scientists discover enormous fossil of the world’s ‘largest snake’ Vasuki Indicus in Kutch, Gujarat:

Vasuki Indicus, a colossal snake fossil, discovered in Gujarat, aged 47 million years, revealing insights into ancient ecosystems. Its size comparable to Titanoboa, indicating a significant predator during prehistoric times.
About Vasuki Indicus:
The enormous serpent, named Vasuki Indicus in science, also finds mention in Hindu mythology, named Vasuki.
This giant serpent is thought to have been among the most formidable predators from the time of the dinosaurs’ extinction 65 million years ago to the emergence of Megalodon around 23 million years ago.
