  • Representatives hailing from 28 nations and the European Union recently convened to adopt the ‘New Delhi Declaration’ during the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) summit. India, serving as the host, is poised to chair the GPAI grouping in 2024, setting a pivotal course for the future of responsible AI stewardship.

Key Tenets of the ‘New Delhi Declaration’

  • The declaration signifies a steadfast commitment to upholding the principles guiding responsible AI, emphasizing democratic values, human rights, and a people-centric approach.
