Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) conducts the Uttar Pradesh Provincial Civil Services (UPPCS) examination.
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) conducts various examinations to recruit candidates for different services in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The UPPSC is responsible for selecting eligible candidates for civil services and other administrative posts.

2. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) – Police Services
3. Block Development Officer (BDO)
4. Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO)
5. Nayab Tehsildar
6. Range Forest Officer (RFO)
7. Commercial Tax Officer (CTO)
8. Treasury Officer/Accounts Officer (Treasury and Accounts Service)
9. Sub Registrar
10. District Audit Officer
11. Etc.

There are 3 stages in the UPPSC-PCS Civil Services Exam:
The marks of the Preliminary Exam are not counted for the final ranking. Prelims is a screening test to select the candidates for the Main Exam. A candidate’s final rank in the civil services exam depends only on the mark scored in the Main exam and Interview.

NOTE:
Candidates who clear the Mains stage of the PCS exam with the required cut-off marks qualify for the final stage of the PCS exam i.e., the Personality Test or Interview round with the UPPSC Board Members. The candidates who qualify to the final stage will be sent an e-summon by the Commission for a face-to-face discussion round with the board members. In this round, the board assesses the personality traits of the candidates and questions will be asked on their hobbies, current affairs, general knowledge, situation questions, etc. to evaluate if they are fit for a career in the civil services or not.
