A major headline this year is the re-entry of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan into the billionaire club with a net worth of $1.3 billion (approx. ₹10,800 crore). His wealth is attributed to:
Red Chillies Entertainment: Dominance in production and VFX.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR): Surge in IPL franchise valuation.
Brand Endorsements: Continued global marketability.
Sam Altman (OpenAI): Wealth tripled to $4.7 billion.
Anthropic: Its valuation created 7 new billionaires (the Amodei siblings and 5 co-founders).
Humanoid Robotics: Brett Adcock (Figure AI) saw the largest percentage gain, up 10-fold to $16 billion.
Bill Gates: Dropped out of the Top 10 for the first time in 15 years, primarily due to a massive $20 billion donation.
