  • FAME II scheme – aims to encourage faster adoption of electric vehicles by right incentives and charging infra.
  • The Union cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved the proposal for implementation of scheme titled ‘Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles in India Phase II (FAME India Phase II)’ for promotion of Electric Mobility in the country.
  • Jal Jeevan Mission – Jal Shakti Mantralaya will work with states to ensure Har Ghar Jal for all rural houses by 2024, under Jal Jeevan Mission.
  • The ASPIRE-A scheme runs under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and aims to promote innovation, rural industry and entrepreneurship in India.
  • This scheme was launched in March 2015.

  • Impact trend: Since 2002, all the countries have remained on the 10 most impacted list apart from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
